AP & BBC making it up as they go along

Just in case some of us were thinking that the recent revelation of New York Times editors adding content to a submitted editorial that completely changed the tenor of the story was an isolated incident, have a look at this correction:

::::::::In a July 9 story about Prime Minister Tony Blair's comments on overcoming global terrorism, The Associated Press erroneously reported that he spoke of easing the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Blair did not specifically mention the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in his interview with the British Broadcasting Corp.::::::::

The story, as told by the BBC and reported by the AP, had Blair specifically citing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a motivation behind the attacks in London and calling for more to be done to resolve it. He said no such thing. Another example of the MSM simply changing the facts when they don't suit the desired message. No bias, indeed.
