Kossacks spreading more lies

Under normal circumstances I do not ever link to the cesspool of of the Left's dementia swamps known as the Daily Kos, but this crap-flinging of theirs has gone unnoted here long enough. Just to be sure to stir up as much class warfare as they can - the only method they have of maintaining their relevancy - they're now screeching out a claim that the Army Corp of Engineers bombed the 17th Street levee in New Orleans.

::::::::10:57 Raw transcript of comments by NOLA evacuee Clara Barthelemy: "The 17th street levee was bombed by the Army Corps of Engineers to save the more valuable real estate in the city... to keep the French Quarter protected, the ninth ward was sacrificed... people are afraid to speak out... everyone who was near there heard the bombings... they bombed seven times. That's why they didn't fix the levees... 20 feet of water. Gators. People dying in water. They let the parishes go, not the city center. Tourist trap was saved over human life. A six year old girl was raped in here.. 9 year old boy killed. A man in the shower beaten. No hot food. No help for elderly."::::::::

Reading this tripe you can almost hear the Kossack who wrote it hyperventilating. New Flash, Einstein: the French Quarter is above sea level, so opening up the levee would have no effect on whether or not it was flooded. Better newsflash: the levees are a perimeter defense, not a concentric or sectioned one. Any breach of the levee anywhere would allow the floodwaters to flow everywhere within them. The only way the levees protect the French Quarter is if they all remain intact.

The amazing thing after delving even a tiny bit into that slime-infested blog is that anyone with rational thought processes would take the least thing said there seriously. Geez.
