San Fran Starbucks bomb defused

A San Francisco Starbucks was evacuated and the bomb squad called for a suspicious device located in the restroom therre. Turns out the device was, in fact a bomb.

::::::::The device was disarmed about an hour after it was found Monday, and residents were allowed back into the building.

"This was a good device. If it had exploded, it would have caused injuries or damage," said Sgt. Neville Gittens.

He would not disclose the size or type of device, or its potential explosive capacity. But he added, "we have some very active leads that we're following up."

Gittens said no one phoned in a bomb threat or took responsibility for the bomb.
::::::::

Note that last part - this wasn't some "cry for help" or publicity stunt. It wasn't some chem student who thought it'd be neat to see his prank get airtime. The person or persons who placed that bomb did so quietly and with the intent to kill people.

Go get, cops. And don't be gentle.
